Afflictions Clothing line includes Affliction T Shirts , polo shirts, thermals, and hoodies. A Brand that is taking america and the UK by storm. Seen on more and more celebrities the Affliction brand can only get bigger and bigger.
Several nightclubs and bars in Vancouver; Victoria do not allow Affliction’s clothing in addition to other labels such as Ed Hardy due to a perceived association with local gang activities. Pamela Rogers, a spokesperson for Affliction, maintained that the brand “has nothing to do with gangs” and describes it instead as an “upscale men’s boutique brand”. In Calgary, the nightclub “Cowboys” has also banned the use of Affliction t-shirts, due to the incidents in Vancouver and Victoria. Pretty awesome, huh?

With the vast amount of rumours circulating regarding the future of Affliction, Josh Barnett speaks out saying he doesn’t yet know what his own future holds.
Quoting him “I’ve heard nothing, I know nothing, I see nothing,”
Barnet has recently been linked to a possible fight with the infamous Fedor Emelianenko who boastas an impressive 29 Win with only 1 Loss record. Rumours suggested the date would be July 11th. However Barnett wouldn’t comment on a date for the show and simply expressed he was ready to take on all challengers. It’s definately the fight the fans want to see and would be the next logical step for Barnett
“What it comes down to is that I don’t have a bout agreement to fight anybody in particular,” Barnett said. “This is coming up on my third fight for Affliction, with the logical idea that it would lead up to [a fight with Emelianenko]. But as it sits, I’m sitting on my last fight and I’m just waiting for an opponent to show themselves.
“Whoever is available, I’ll take them, but I know the fans are really hot to see me fight Fedor. It just hasn’t been put together.”
So with all the fans eager to see this fight go down and be on Afflictions third event, there has been no set-in-stone date or even an opponent, MMA fans are getting restless!
As for the possibility of going head to head to with the UFC’s centennial event, “Inside MMA‘ host Kenny Rice quickly offered his take on the situation.
“Here’s my unsolicited comment for those putting Affliction 3 together: There’s about nine months left to go in this year. I think I would avoid the UFC 100 head-to-head card.”
